Soulrich Foundation Gives To Christian Outreach To The Handicapped

We have 3 pillars under our Foundation:

1) Well-being

Well-being is in line with the first 3 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as outlined by the United Nations. We believe that sustenance is key to a person’s well-being. As such, we partner organisations who are doing great work in meeting this need. We also believe in caring for practical needs, to enable people to lead lives with purpose and dignity.

2) Family

In a recent international report from the Social Trends Institute co-sponsored by the Institute for Family Studies, the research showed that retreat from marriage seems to decrease family stability for children in a wide variety of social contexts. Using data from 100 countries around the globe, the study also found that family instability was higher in countries where more children were born to single mothers and cohabiting couples.

It is proven that marriage is associated with more family stability for children across the globe and that strong family relationships build sustainable societies.

3) Christian Education

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that God can be personally known through Jesus Christ. Our giving focuses on initiatives which help to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world.

We were looking for an organisation under our 3rd pillar to bless and support and we were led to COH — Christian Outreach to the Handicapped. On 18th January 2021, we met up with the President of COH Dennis Huang for an introductory meeting and a short tour of the COH premises.

It was a lovely meeting and we were so blessed to witness a beautiful piano recital by one of the beneficiaries, Christopher.

Christopher is autistic; and to hear the beautiful songs he played was simply amazing. All glory to God!

At the end of our visit, we were given another surprise by Christopher who presented us with his art piece! Thank you Christopher!
