Let There Be Light In Myanmar

Our latest solar lamp distribution in Bago township was to a primary school and a village. Although the distribution was quite challenging due to several factors like floods and cyclones, our team finally made it and completed the distribution successfully!

The village, known as Pyin Pone Tar Sone, has no electricity supply at all and while the school has light bulbs, there isn’t any electricity running through them as well.

A total of 280 solar lamps were distributed to the school which has 7 teachers and 273 students. A further 220 lights were given to the villagers nearby.

On the ground, we were aided by the community leader who thanked our team for all the lamps. He even assisted in the distribution.

Once again, our heartfelt gratitude to our network of donors and volunteers who are the real heroes in making this project a successful one.
