A Gift of Love and Light
When our Foundation was started in 2019, God laid it on our hearts that we had to be involved in “bread, water and light” initiatives.
Our bread initiative is done in collaboration with Food From The Heart’s “Bread Run.”
This Christmas, we started a new project called “Let There Be Light.”
We will be sending solar lamps to disadvantaged families across South East Asia who have no access to electricity. This basically means they do not have light when the sun sets. On some occasions, these families only use candles.

Starting with Indonesia, we will slowly bring these lamps to other countries like Myanmar, Cambodia and Philippines.
As an example, there are about 500,000 families in Papua (a province in Indonesia) who have no access to electricity. We will kick-off with Papua followed by Myanmar.
According to a report published by the United Nations ESCAP in 2020, 95.5 per cent of Asean’s population had electricity access in 2018. Of the 29 million people who lacked electricity access, the majority (90 per cent) lived in rural areas, and more than half (62 per cent) resided in Myanmar.
Ever grateful for local partners across the region who are helping with the ordering, packing and distributing of the solar lamps.
Do partner us in this worthy cause and get the kids involved as well! Have them donate a portion of their pocket money and make it a family-giving initiative to bring love and light to families across the region.
Every SGD10 sends one solar lamp and a copy of “Our Daily Bread” to a family to enjoy God’s Word together.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
